I grew up in the Kakuma refugee camp surrounded by different people and cultures that affected my perspective and view of life. From an early age, I took an interest in filming; I would watch and criticise movies, then form an opinion about them and tell my friends how I would have done it if I were the director. I also acted during music and drama festivals when in school. My interest in scriptwriting and photography grew after joining media training classes at FilmAid Kenya. I am very eager to tell people's stories through filming and photography.
