I arrived in Kakuma in November 2019 after war erupted in my hometown, forcing me to flee my country. When I came to Kakuma, I started learning English because Congo is a French country. I later started a small business. I had a childhood dream of becoming a filmmaker, One day, I saw a poster about media and entrepreneurship training in Kakuma; I knew my dream was coming to fruition.  I dropped all my engagements and joined the media class to focus on my career.
