My Parent arrived in Kenya from South Sudan in 1995 after fleeing a civil war. Then I was born in the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya in 1998. Growing up in Kakuma has always been challenging, and this has mauled me into the person I am today.

I am very passionate about media, and I've always dreamed of joining media school to learn and expand my knowledge and skills. I believe in using the power of film to tell my story and the unheard stories of people living in challenging places in the world and inspire the younger generation.

Apart from this, I love watching documentaries. This is where I get inspired to join filmmaking training to acquire video editing skills which will help me pursue this competitive media field.
