Mohamed and his friend Osman are miraa addicts who strongly believe that miraa can heal them. They face difficulties as Osman’s sister and Mohamed’s wife don’t believe in such myths and misconceptions. This leads to families breaking as Mohamed kicks his wife out after taking the vaccine. Osman on the other side gets affected and refuses to take the vaccine and still believes that the miraa can heal him and this leads to Osman losing his life. This affects both Safia Osman’s sister and Mohamed who had chased his wife away because of the myths. Mohamed tries to look for his wife and his three kids but finds she has moved on and has another child. Mohamed then decides to educate young youths and other community members to avoid a repeat of the same. He shares the thought with Safia, and they both seek elders’ intervention to help them mobilize community members to get vaccinated against COVID-19 disease.
